My recent stay at Hotel Olympia in Česká Lípa provided a blend of relaxation and adventure, albeit with a few drawbacks. The highlight was undoubtedly the sauna, which offered a serene escape after our day of exploring nearby Máchovo Lake and Bezděz Castle. While the hotel's room features like free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV ensured our comfort, I found the breakfast options lacking, so I recommend venturing into town for a more satisfying meal. Though the hotel has seen better days and feels a bit overpriced for what it offers, its convenient location-just 500 meters from the railway station-made it easy for my travel companions and me to explore this charming area. While enhancements are certainly needed, those seeking a home base for local excursions might find their stay adequate, especially if they prioritize nature and wellness during their travels.
